APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DEGASIFYING A LIQUID MEDIUM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus and method for degasifying a liquid medium. The apparatus comprises a chamber in which gas is removed from the liquid medium, means for conveying the liquid medium into this chamber, means for conveying the liquid medium out of the chamber, and means for reducing pressure within the chamber to separate the gas from the liquid medium. The method comprises the steps of conveying liquid medium into the chamber, reducing pressure within the chamber to separate gas from the liquid medium, and then conveying the degasified liquid medium out of the chamber.
