ABSTRACT A swather having more than one swathing head, including a front head and at least one side head, the heads being connected to a common sub-frame which can be readily attached to the main frame of a tractor. The front head is carried by a front transverse portion of the sub-frame, and the side head is connected to a rearwardly extending portion which is affixed to the front transverse portion. The front head extends across the front of the tractor and the side head is attached behind the front head and extends laterally beyond a side edge of the front head. The front transverse portion has means for connection to the front part of the main frame and the rearwardly extending portion has means for connection to the main frame rearwardly of the front part of the main frame.
