- 12 - Method of pneumatic rinsing of filters provided with com- pressed-air supply openings, and apparatus to be used when carrying out this method. Abstract of Disclosure A method of penumatic rinsing of filters provided with com- pressed-air supply openings, and placed between (a) the out- let of a container transporting and storing pulverized or granular materials and (b) a dispensing sluice with a rotat- able vane wheel is characterized in -that the rotation of the vane wheel is utilized for controlling a valve arrangement, connected to a compressed-air source, in such a manner that the filters are blown through in a sequence dependent on the rotational speed of the sluice. Thus, this method exclusive- ly involves a penumatic-mechanical arrangement for cleaning filters by blowing compressed air therethrough. An apparatus to be used when carrying out the method includes a ratchet wheel arrangement consisting mainly of two ratchet wheels (7,8), which by a crank connection (9,13) and a cross- member (10) provided with ratchets (11,12) are connected to the sluice vane wheel (13). Above the ratchet wheels (7,8) screenings (14,15) are mounted to adjust the engagement be- tween the ratchets (11,12) and the respective ratchet wheels (7,8) in such a manner that the rotation of the sluice vane wheel is converted to a rest-rotation-rest-motion used for controlling the revolving of a valve plate (2) which is fitted with a borehole (3), which by turning of said valve plate (2) is brought into alignment with totally six valve openings (5) provided in a cover above said valve plate.
