A PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF HIGHLY PURE TRIMAGNESIUM PHOSPHATE OCTAHYDRATE OF HIGH PURITY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is the production of crystalline tertiary magnesium phosphate octahydrate having uniform and perfect crystal shape. The process comprises adding a monomagnesium phosphate solution to a magnesium hydroxide slurry at a sufficient temperature and for a sufficient time to form the highly pure crystalline product within a specified pH range.
