ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A portable unisex urinal comprises a urine tube provided with a first and a second aperture means, the first aper- ture being intended to form a urine inlet end and being so shaped as to enable it to be used by both men and women, a urine bag having an inlet end and an openable and closable outlet end, a valve means which includes a cylindrical valve body, one end of which is intended to co-act in a liquid-tight manner with the second aperture means, and the other end of which is intended to co-act with the inlet end of the urine bag. At least the valve means and the urine bag form an undivided and liquid-tight urine collect- ing device. Alternatively, the urine tube, valve means and urine bag together form an undividable or inseparable as- sembly. The valve means also incorporates a liquid and vapour impervious diaphragm.
