Grâce à cet arrangement, la glissière peut se éplacer par rapport au porte-outil immobilisé par l'ancre pendant la phase d'arrachage, deux vérins étant prévus, l'un pour la commande de l'ancre et l'autre pour déplacer le porte-ouil en direction de l'avant sur la glissière.
