IMPROVED VIBRATION ISOLATION APPARATUS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved apparatus for supporting a sensor housing on a surface to which vibrations are applied having mounts fixedly coupled to the surface and brackets fixedly coupled to the housing with a vibration isolation material supported between the mounts and the brackets to improve the vibration isolation to the housing by placing at least one half of the material of the apparatus in compression responsive to linear vibrations along at least two of the axes of the housing .
