ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A character in a set of characters comprising a font for use in reproducing an image comprises a composite of two colors wherein at least one of said two colors occupies one area of said character and the other of said two colors occupies at least two areas of said character, said at least two areas of said other color being separated from each other by said one area of said one color. Each character, having at least three areas of two different colors, is structurally different from other characters of a single color or only two areas of different colors.
