ABSTRACT A wheel transfer device including a lever having a wheel receiving cage on one end for receiving a wheel from a conveyor and delivering the litter to a second conveyor which is laterally and vertically spaced from the first mentioned conveyor. The lever is mounted for pivotal movement about a pivot axis intermediate the two conveyors. The cage is provided with retention means for retaining the wheel therein during pivotal movement of the cage between conveyors. -i-
