ABSTRACT A runner for a raised flooring system is disclosed. The runner has at least one horizontal upper surface for supporting floor panels, the upper surface(s) having an integral resilient coating. Preferably, the coating is an organic polyvinyl chloride plastisol coating approximately 200 micrometres in thickness. Preferably, there is at least one integral central upward projection from the top of the runner. The coating may be conductive or non- conductive.
