ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A combined socket is shown, whereby a screw can be driver either by a Phillips driver or by a square (Robertson) driven. The wings of the socket have end walls that curve convexly to such an extent that both the Robertson and the Phillips drivers are of the con- ventional size for that size of screw, yet the end wall is clear of the corner of the square, right down to the bottom of the end wall.
