INVENTION : SELF-RIGHTING MULTIHULL BOAT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The trimaran has a lateral hull which is fixed at the end of a beam rotatably mounted on a longi- tudinal axis, which itself is supported by an outrigger protruding from the central hull. A jack allows to rotate the lateral hull around the axis (arrow). Openings are provided in the lateral hull, in order to fill and flush it. The catamaran can be righted from the capsized position by a rotation of the water-filled side hulls through about 90°, because the side hulls then act as ballasted keels. After emptying the lateral hulls and returning the beams to their normal position, navigation may be resumed.
