ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A single-ended steam chest with an improved support assembly is disclosed. Inlet end flexible plates and outlet end flexible plates are affixed to the steam chest. The inlet end flexible plates are cooled while the outlet end flexible plates are heated thereby minimizing the rotation of the steam chest due to thermal expansion.
