METALLOPHOSPHOALUMINATES AND THEIR SYNTHESIS ABSTRACT Crystalline metallophosphoaluminates in which the metal is germanium, antimony, vanadium and/or boron have ion-exchange properties and are readily convertible to catalytically active materials. The synthesis method employs a two-phase reaction mixture comprising a suitable organic or inorganic directing agent and sources of aluminum oxide, phosphorous oxide and the required metal oxide.
