ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A metal-clad airship hull structure in which the hull skin is thin and varies in thickness, diminshing from maximum thickness at the top of the hull toward the bow and stern and perimetrally toward the bottom. The hull utilizes internal circular transverse principal and secondary frames and exter- nal longerons. The internal frames and the external longerons are individually continuous and triangular in cross-section and utilize corrugated shear webs in each side surface of the triangle.
