TRIM COMPONENT FOR THE FINISH OF BUILDINGS Abstract Of The Disclosure In the finish of buildings by use of wood trim for coves and baseboards, around door and window openings, etc., simple cutting of the trim is permitted, eliminating the need for mitered corners and mitered splicing by t-he provision of relative small, inexpensive, easily and quickly applied, decorative overlap components for both the inside and outside building corners as well as in the form of a splice cap. Each component has a hidden reinforcing rib, a trim edge overlap flange and a portion shaped like and mating with the ornamental molding of the trim.
