26793-32 ABSTRACT In a fuse for projectiles a setting ring is rotatably disposed about the longitudinal axis of the fuse, through which the ignition time or delay time can be set exactly. To prevent the inadvertent resetting of the setting ring once set, said setting ring is secured by a friction system formed from a fric- tion ring with friction nut impinging on it. By means of the friction system that can be placed in positive locking fashion on the lower fixed housing part of the fuse the time adjustment torque usual in time fuses can be set in a simple manner and at the same time a positive connection of the housing parts is achieved.
