ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention comprises a basic metal window which is so constructed as to receive an interior snap-on plastic window. The basic metal window includes metal framing members provided with side by side tracks which can accommodate various width panels such as single-glazed panels, double-glazed panels, screen panels or other panels as desired. The interior snap-on plastic window includes plastic framing members provided with suitable tracks for receiving sashes or glass panels. When an interior plastic window is attached to an exterior metal window an insulated or thermal barrier window construction is provided.
