ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE Apparatus for applying heat-shrinkable plastic sleeves to glass containers and the heat-shrinking of the sleeves while the containers are transported through an arcuate set of infra-red heaters having temperature controlled zones by the rotation of a bottle-holding turret. Complete shrinkage of the sleeves into contact with the underlying annular surface of the bottom of the container is assured by the configuration of hot air impingement manifold positioned adjacent the path of travel of the containers about the turret.
