PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention a pour objet une composition pour une application topique. Cette composition contient en tant qu'agent actif au moins un composé de formule: Image (I) dans laquelle R1 et R2 représentent un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical alkyle inférieur, R3 représente un atome d'hydro- gène, un radical alkyle de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, un radical mono- ou polyhydroxyalkyle de 2 à 16 atomes de car- bone, un radical carbamylalkyle, un radical carboxyalkyle ou un radical alkoxycarbonylalkyle, R4 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical -COOR5, R5 représentant un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle de 1 à 18 atomes de carbone éventuellement interrompu par un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes ou un radical mono- ou polyhydroxyalkyle de 2 à 18 atomes de carbone, et n est 0 ou 1, en association avec un véhicule cosmétique approprié. Cette composition permet d'améliorer l'élasticité et la souplesse de la peau.
