ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A base plate for supporting and positioning a vertical wall panel of a building structure, a plurality of such plates when in connected position in a plane to form a ring. The base plate receives and supports thereon the base of a wall panel. To the upper surface of the plate are secured upwardly projecting, outwardly extending hooks to receive and properly position the base of the wall panel so that adjacent wall panels similarly received and positioned on adjacent similar base plates in connected position will be contiguous to that wall panel and to retain the wall panel therein against relative vertical or sideways movement. Connectors are provided at the ends of the plate to releasably secure the plate to cooperating ends of adjacent, similar base plates. The base plates according to the present invention greatly facilitate the construction of circular building structures, reducing manpower requirements and the technical skills of manpower used in erecting such strucutres.
