VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR PIPELINE Abstract of the disclosure A valve assembly for a pipeline has a rotatable sleeve within a chamber which houses obturator means such as a check valve assembly. The chamber and sleeve have through passages which can be brought into and out of register by rotating the sleeve. Thus the chamber can be isolated from the pipeline, and the obturator can be serviced and/or removed and replaced.
