ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Two dies, placed together, have inner surfaces forming spaces, each space being in the shape of a chain element. Other dies are inserted into holes located between the two dies and in the spaces between the adjacent spaces each of which forms the shape of a chain element. When molten material is injected into the two dies, the two dies form the molten material into chain elements, and the other dies form cylindrical protrusions at one end of each chain element and, at the same time, holes in the other end of each chain element, such that each cylindrical protrusion formed is contained within the hole formed in the next adjacent element.
