Abstract of the Disclosure A heat exchanger for use with high pressure gases is disclosed which has a generally cylindrical shell through which pressurized gas is passed. A plurality of stacked, high pressure, liquid-carrying coils are placed within the shell transverse to the direction in which the gas flows. A frame is provided within the heat exchanger to support the coils in separate, substantially parallel planes. Because of the generally cylindrical shape of the heat exchanger, no reinforcement plates are needed to enable the walls of the heat exchanger to withstand high pressure gases.
