ABSTRACT Blends of Vinylidene Chloride Copolymers and Olefin Copolymers and Films produced therefrom Films produced from blends of polymers which comprise a) 70 to 97 weight percent of a vinylidene chloride copolymer b) 30 to 3 weight percent of an olefin/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer and c) 0 to 15 weight percent of an olefin/vinyl acetate copolymer based on the total weight of (a), (b) and (c), have high shrinkability and low sealing temperatures. Such films find wide use in the preparation of film materials, for example for packaging food.
