ABSTRACT A drum of thermoplastic material comprises a rolling ring which projects from the drum shell in the vicinity of the bottom of the drum. The rolling ring in the cross-section is approximately trapezium-shaped. The narrowest area of the ring is at the base of the ring groove, and the axial end face of the ring is coplanar with the plane of the drum bottom.
