ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The invention relates to a polyether ester for the bonding of textiles, based on terephthalic acid, iso- phthalic acid, 1,4-butanediol and a polyalkylene ether diol, the polyether ester having a melting point comprises between 95 and 125°C and a relative viscosity, measured at 25°C on l g of polyether ester in 100 ml of a mixture of 60 parts by weight of phenol and 40 parts by weight of 1,1,2,2,- tetrachloroethane of 1.85 to 2.20, characterized in that the molar ratio of terephthalic to isophthalic acid is of 48 to 55 to 52 to 45, and the amount of polyethylene glycol having a molar mass of 0.4 to 6kg/mol,is of 10.5 to 25% by weight relative to the sum of all the residues contained in the polyether ester. The bonded combinations exhibit resistance to hot water and perchloroethylene.
