ABSTRACT Novel compositions are disclosed which comprise 1) at least one alkyltin mercaptide, 2) at least one zinc mercaptoester, and 3) at least one basic alkali or alkaline earth metal compound. In addition, the compositions may also include at least one alkyltin sulfide or oxide. These compositions are useful as stabilizers for halogen containing polymers.
