COMPOSITION FOR INSULATING ELECTRICAL WIRE AND CABLE Abstract of the Disclosures Disclosed are a composition for insulating electrical wire and cable comprising an ethylene-vinyl acetate copoly- mer, at least one hindered phenolic compound, and a polyphos- phite; a process for producing wire and cable insulated with the composition; and a cable insulated with the composition. Cables insulated with the composition, which composition has been irradiated after extrusion about a wire conductor, show good heat resistance and improved water resistance.
