Description

ABSTRACT High-performance packaging machines, especially for cigarettes, require a large quantity of packaging material for producing blanks. The sheet-like packaging material is provided in reels. To provide a sufficient supply of reels for the packaging machine there is a reel magazine which has a reel turret with a plurality of reel holders. Each reel holder itself receives a plurality of reels arranged equiaxially next to one another. These are fed in succession to a consumption station or reel-receiving devices.
