ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wire matrix print head has a plurality of print wires each operatively connected to an armature and a core with a predetermined space formed between said armature and said core. The print ends of all wires are simultaneously aligned with the open end of the housing closest to the point of printing by a single operation. The alignment is in proportional relationship with the dimension of the space between an armature and a related core.
