A plurality of small suction orifices, made at least at the bottoms of the grooves, lie protected against clogging by the mucous membrane in the patient's oral cavity. The ridges and grooves preferably comprise bellows-like folds with sides of different extension, so that the narrower sides can be snapped in under the wide sides when compressing the bellows-like portion.
