ABSTRACT Inner wrappings for cigarette groups or the like, as part of the pack, should be as effectively sealed against aroma and moisture losses as possible. For this purpose, the inner wrapping is provided with side tabs for forming side walls connected to one another in a sealed manner in the region of overlapping strips to form a bonding strip. The bonding strip extends over part of the height or length of the inner wrapping so that an opening flap can be freed from the inner wrapping.
