ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device usable in a process for regeneration of an active charcoal (containing at least one adsorbed solvent) by treatment thereof in an adsorbing device using steam with condensation of the steams coming out of said adsorbing device, decanting and recycling of the water obtained from said decanting, said device comprising : - an indirect heat exchanger in which the steams coming from said adsorbing device release part of their calories into impure water by producing impure steam at a pressure of between 0.1 and 1 bar, the said steam being taken up by and ejector, and - means for feeding said indirect exchanger with the impure water coming from the decanter.
