ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An aerodynamic body provided with means for steer- ing in response to a body control variable signal has a hom- ing device supplying a measurement signal (.epsilon.m) of the error angle of the body. For intercepting a target a computing unit, operating on the basis of relationships describing the aero- dynamic behaviour of the body in respect of the target, de- termines signal values (?,?) representing approximations of the line of sight angular rate (?) and the attitude angular rate (?). The input signal to the computing unit is the body control variable signal (u, um), which is dependent on the determined approximation (?) of the line of sight angular rate. From said two signal values (?,?) a signal value (?) representing an approximation of the error angle is deter- mined. An error angle difference signal value (.DELTA..epsilon.=.epsilon.m-?) is determined and fed back to the computing unit to update quan- tities in the relationships.
