A recombinant DNA carrying the CGTase gene is introduced by in vitro genetic engineering technique into a host micro- organism of species Bacillus subtilis or Escherichia coli. The recombinant microorganism carrying the recombinant DNA autonomically proliferates to secrete a large amount of CGTase.
