T 5709 CAN A B S T R A C T FOAM CEMENT SAMPLING DEVICE AND METHOD A sampling device is provided for collecting and maintaining under in-situ pressure a representative sample of a foamed cement for use in a well. The device consists of a steel tubular body with valves at either end. To allow easy removal of the cured cement sample a removable plastic sleeve is inserted in the tubular body, which sleeve is, after curing of the cement sample, removed from said body and then split, which leaves a cylinder of foamed cement.
