ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pouring insert for a container is disclosed which is adapted to be used with a cup-shaped dosing, metering or propor- tioning cap. The pouring insert is cup-shaped and has openings extending into the side wall and into the base area. The rate of flow of the contents is reduced thereby providing a measuring control of product dosage.
