ABSTRACT "VISUALLY CLEAR DENTIFRICE COMPOSITION" A visually clear pigmented dentifrice comprising a liquid vehicle having a refractive index of about 1.36 to 1.47, up to about 10% by weight gelling agent, about 5-50% by weight of a polishing material having a refractive index similar to that of the liquid vehicle, such that the dent- ifrice is transparent or translucent when the polishing agent is dispersed in the liquid vehicle, and about 0.001% to 1% by weight of colour-intensive insoluble conjugated pigment dispersed homogeneously through the dentifrice.
