Abstract Cloth Covered Pinch Welt and Method for Making Same The present invention teaches a cloth covered pinch welt comprising a flexible, thermoplastic polymeric substrate extruded about a reinforcing member having a layer of partially embedded open cell foam material bonded to the polymeric substrate and wherein a cloth covering is bonded to the foam material. In addition a method for manufacturing the cloth covered pinch welt disclosed herein is also taught.
