ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A power laser has intermediate corner flanges, an end flange, gas pipelines disposed in a rectangle between the intermediate corner flanges and the end flange, a table, a blower, heat exchangers, and cooling gas paths from and to the blower and from and to the gas pipelines. The power laser is characterized in that it constitutes one module, and in use, at least two modules which are at least substantially the same are connected to each other. The connection is made at the corners of the modules by means of a connecting flange which in its interior is impermeable to laser beams and which establishes a rectilinar joint between in each case two gas pipelines of different modules.
