ABSTRACT A folding turret for receiving packs or other articles in pockets consists of part turrets which are adjustable relative to one another during a stationary phase of the turret, in such a way that the cross-section of the pockets is temporarily increased and then reduced again. During the rotary movement of the folding turret, the pockets have a reduced cross-section which ensures that the packs are fixed within the pockets as a result of a clamping effect.
