MICRO-COLUMN PLASMA EMISSION LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPH ABSTRACT The plasma source unit that includes a quartz capillary tube having an inlet, an outlet for off gas and a pair of spaced elect rodes defining a plasma region in the tube. The inlet is connect- ed to and adapted to receive eluant of a micro-column liquid chromatograph along with a stream of plasma-forming gas. There is an opening through the wall of the capillary tube penetrating into the plasma region.
