ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a process for produc- ing liquefying agents for mineral binders based on water-soluble condensation products of naphthalene or alkyl naphthalenes with formaldehyde. The present invention is characterized in that during the condensation reaction and on reaching a basic viscos- ity of 4000 to 8000 mPas, preferably at 5000 to 7500 mPas, the viscosity of the reaction mixture is reduced by adding water.
