It should have a small structural shape, be easy to carry along and use and be capable of being operated independent of an external power supply. Moreover, the heat treatment apparatus should be connectable to plurality of different detection devices. To solve the object, the receptacle through which the gas can flow is provided with a chemical filling capable of a exothermic reaction and with a starting device initiating the reaction.
