ABSTRACT A hydraulic brake booster includes a housing (24) with a bore (26) for receiving a first piston (34), a second piston (38) and a valve assembly (32). The valve assembly includes a sleeve (60) with a bore (92, 110) receiving a first valve member (98) and a second valve member (112). The valve member (98) cooperates with an input member (94) to define a cavity (106) within the sleeve (60) and a resilient travel block (96) is disposed within the cavity in en- gagement with the valve member 98 and the input member 94.
