ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There are disclosed power transmission shift fluids comprising mineral oil containing 0.1 to 1 wt % of a 3,5-dialkylhydroxy benzyl alkyl sulfide, preferably 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl dodecyl sulfide, which functions both as an oxidation inhibitor and copper/brass corrosion inhibitor in ATF and other power transmission shift fluids.
