Abstract: New compounds endowed with immunomodulating activity The invention relates to a series of purine deri- vatives of formula (I) Image (I) wherein R is hydrogen or NH2, n is an integer from 1 to 6, R1 represent a chain of the formula Image or, when n=1, a chain of formula Image wherein R2 is the residue of an .alpha.-aminoacid, R3 is hydrogen or the residue of an oligopeptide containing 2 to 6 aminoacids, R4 is OH or the reidue of an oligopeptide containing 2 to 6 aminoacids, m and p are integers ranging independently from 2 to 6, A is a group of formula Image wherein R2 and R4 have the above mentioned meanings or a group of formula Image wherein R4 has the above mentioned meanings. They have immunomodulating activity.
