ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus is provided for the non-contacting, non-destructive measur- ing of the orientation ratio of a magnetic storage element. The storage element is mounted on a rotatable receiver. A pair of test head assemblies are movable along a first axis toward and away from the center of the element. The test heads are also movable along a second axis toward and away from each other. The first and second axes are relatively perpendicular.
