PROCESS FOR CONVERTING OLEFINS INTO HIGHER HYDROCARBONS ABSTRACT In the conversion of olefins into higher hydrocarbons, a feedstock comprising ethylene and C3+ olefins is prefractionated to obtain gaseous ethylene and a liquid stream containing C3+ olefins; the C3+ olefins are then oligomerized to obtain distillate and gasoline fractions and part of the gasoline fraction is recycled and used as the prefractionation sorbent.
